About Brian
As the director of onboarding & integration, Brian Regan is at the forefront of Buckingham Strategic Wealth’s expanding national footprint. For every transaction partner the firm welcomes, Brian and his team are responsible for onboarding and integrating the newest associates. Their job is to acclimate them to Buckingham processes, but more importantly, they provide reliability, assistance and guidance to the newest members of the Buckingham team.
The multifaceted O&I group is also responsible for capturing best practices while focusing on development and providing guidance on the wealth management client experience. Brian and his team help establish strong relationships and effective working partnerships with each new transaction. While no two onboarding processes are alike, Brian values the unique aspect each one brings. He looks to broaden his knowledge and skill set with each new partner, but his most rewarding aspect remains the great team he leads and works alongside each day.
A seasoned associate, Brian likes to state he “grew up at Buckingham.” Throughout his time, he’s always valued the firm’s emphasis and desire for deep personal relationships. Whether it’s with colleagues or clients, it’s something Brian takes to heart. Prior to joining the firm, he played professional hockey for six years, being drafted by the Hartford Whalers in 1994. After his career on the ice, he joined the firm in 2004.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Outside of Buckingham, he enjoys golfing, fishing and spending with his sons, Carter and Cooper. A New Milford, CT native, he now resides in Wentzville, MO.
