About Charles
As Buckingham’s Director of Business Solutions, Charles “Chuck” Laverty works in tandem with the firm’s advisory teams to help business owner clients understand and enhance the value of their businesses. He also consults with clients to help them design a plan for properly transitioning from their business, based on their specific financial life goals and when the time is right.
Chuck gains great satisfaction from building lasting relationships while assisting business owners and their families in navigating what’s often a constantly changing and evolving financial landscape.
Chuck came to Buckingham in 2021 from a CPA firm near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he spent 15 years and most recently served as the partner in charge of the firm’s business valuation and litigation support services department. He began his career as a business appraiser.
An avid sports fan, Chuck lives in northeast Ohio with his wife and two young sons (and the family cat). Outside of work, he enjoys golf and travel with friends and family.
