About David
As portfolio manager, David oversees the day-to-day account maintenance and trading needs of clients, ensuring quick and accurate execution. He works in tandem with advisors, providing portfolio details and trading assistance to best facilitate clients’ financial plans. If cash is moved in or out of an account, or a new client is onboarded into a new model, the portfolio manager is involved in making trades to enable those changes.
Prior to joining Buckingham Strategic Wealth, David worked on the equity trade desk at Stifel for four years as a portfolio trader. In this role, he primarily traded client accounts to models and oversaw daily maintenance of those accounts. He also worked as a financial advisor at Renaissance Financial from 2017 to 2018. He has been with Buckingham in his current role since November 2021. He attended the University of Missouri and graduated with degrees in economics and finance.
A St. Louis native, David has lived in the area his entire life and currently resides just outside the city in Arnold, Missouri. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and hiking and has been lucky enough to hike some remarkable trails across several different countries. When he is not traveling, he enjoys keeping an active lifestyle through his many hobbies, including woodworking, golf and softball.
