About Emilie
Emilie’s desire to help others started in college. While majoring in accounting with plans to become a CPA, she started asking family about how they managed their finances. She came to realize that the realm of personal finance can feel daunting to many and there was clearly a need for guidance that goes beyond tax returns and investments. This led Emilie to take on a second major in finance and to pursue a new career path.
As a wealth advisor, Emilie has a passion for educating clients and giving them a sense of empowerment and peace of mind about their financial decisions. She works in partnership with her clients to gain a thorough understanding of their values and objectives in order to craft holistic financial plans designed around each client’s unique situation. From there, Emilie leverages her education to see the plan through by integrating tax-efficient strategies, risk management and estate planning techniques.
Emilie has been advising families since 2004. Prior to joining our team in 2015, Emilie was an assistant vice president with a local independent advisory firm. Before then, she was with the private client groups of Charles Schwab and Merrill Lynch.
Emilie earned a B.S. in accounting and a B.S.B.A. in finance from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 2007, she attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselorsmdesignations. Emilie is a former board member of the St. Louis chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals and is a member of the Financial Planning Association and National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
Outside of work, Emilie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading a good book and volunteering with local charities and community action groups. She serves on the board and Executive Committee for the National Council of Jewish Women-St. Louis and on the board of Camp Rainbow Foundation, an organization that provides free camp programs for children and families affected by childhood cancer and blood-related diseases. Emilie is also a member of the Finance and Legal Studies Advisory Board for the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
