Buckingham Strategic Wealth Named Among Top RIA Firms

Buckingham Strategic Wealth has again turned in a top-25 finish on Financial Advisor’s 2018 RIA Ranking, climbing from 24th in 2017 to 20th this year on the magazine’s annual list.

The ranking includes more than 700 firms and displays not only growth in assets, but also growth in assets per client and change in number of client relationships overall.

The firm’s recognition on Financial Advisor’s 2018 RIA Ranking comes on the heels of Buckingham’s June appearance in this year’s edition of the Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers (FT 300) list. 2018 marks the fourth consecutive year Buckingham has earned a place on the FT 300.

While earning industry awards in no way motivates the firm’s efforts to become a leader in the independent wealth management space, this distinction among our peers acknowledges Buckingham’s successful evolution into a nationally recognized firm. It also serves as welcome acknowledgement that our client-focused and comprehensive, evidence-based approach to investing merits recognition for helping a diverse group of clients achieve their most important financial goals. Buckingham remains dedicated to developing the strength, focus, depth and commitment to unparalleled client service required to help an ever-widening range of investors secure their financial futures.

The RIA Ranking is an independent listing of RIA firms produced annually (July 2018) by Financial Advisor magazine. It is based on survey data gathered from RIA firms, which are ranked by year-end assets, defined as discretionary and nondiscretionary AUM reported on Form ADV. This award does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients and is not indicative of the practice’s future performance. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to Financial Advisor magazine in exchange for inclusion in the RIA Ranking.

The Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers is an independent listing produced annually (June 2018) by the Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the Financial Times that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry. The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures and Financial Times research. The listing reflected each practice’s performance in six primary areas: assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, years in existence, credentials and online accessibility. This award does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients and is not indicative of the practice’s future performance. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to the Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.
