Dan Goldie Financial Services Agrees to Join Buckingham Strategic Wealth

The transaction, which is expected to close Feb. 1, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions, will expand Buckingham’s presence and extend its depth of talent in Silicon Valley and in California more widely.

Dan Goldie Financial Services LLC was founded in 2009 by former top-ranked tennis pro Dan Goldie, co-author of 2011’s “The Investment Answer,” a New York Times bestseller. Like Buckingham, Goldie and his team provide evidence-based investment management and comprehensive financial planning services to individuals, families and businesses.

The transaction will also bring Dirk Gilliard to the Buckingham team as a wealth advisor. Buckingham has had an office in Palo Alto since 2012, in addition to other California offices in Irvine, Walnut Creek and Santa Rosa.
