About Alex
As a manager on the Investment Strategy team, Alex’s goal is to help clients and advisors understand Buckingham's Evidence-Driven Investing™ philosophy, implement a portfolio that will help them reach their long-term goals, and keep them in their seats during market turbulence. Alex is most energized by developing new associates' understanding of Buckingham’s investing approaches and having meaningful conversations with clients and advisors.
Before joining Buckingham in October 2019, he worked as a performance analyst at Wells Fargo Advisors, where he spent time aggregating and validating clients’ portfolio return data and determining proper benchmarking policies. Prior to that role, he worked as an editor in the publishing industry. Later in his publishing career, he realized that his undergraduate degree in journalism paired with his passion for the investment world formed the foundation for his ability to turn numbers into a narrative while translating complex investment topics into a concise, approachable form.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He’s also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®).
Outside of work, Alex enjoys having fun outdoors with his two children, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and sneaking out with his wife on date nights.
