About Austin
As a portfolio manager, Austin works in tandem with the firm’s advisory teams to provide comprehensive portfolio solutions tailored to clients’ specific life and financial circumstances. In this role, Austin combines a problem-solving approach with detailed analysis to help ensure that each client’s portfolio is managed in a cost-conscious and tax-efficient way that keeps them on their intended path to financial success.
Prior to joining Buckingham Strategic Wealth in November 2021, Austin served on Wells Fargo Advisors’ managed portfolios team as a trading service representative, where he focused heavily on new account implementation, tax harvesting, security and cash drift, and their associated trading. Before joining Wells Fargo Advisors, he spent time as a business systems consultant investigating ethics and sales violations for Wells Fargo Bank. Austin began his career as a loan officer with the First National Bank of Sparta.
An Illinois native, Austin is involved with a number of charitable organizations and frequently gives back to his alma mater, McKendree University, where he earned his degree in economics and finance. He is a car enthusiast, pet owner, and avid sports fan, rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and teams from the University of Illinois.
