About Ben
As an Associate Wealth Advisor, Ben works closely with his advisory team to ensure that clients have in place the evidence-driven investment plan and holistic planning strategies they need to achieve their most important life and financial goals. He helps clients complete their plan’s action items and answers questions between meetings to ensure day-to-day implementation runs smoothly.
After taking an investment course in college, Ben’s interest in the markets evolved to encompass how an investment strategy interacts with the other aspects of a person or family's financial plan. Today, Ben sees the most satisfaction from building relationships and helping clients find the right strategy to accomplish a comprehensive set of long-term objectives.
Before joining Buckingham in 2022, Ben was at Morgan Stanley in a role where he supported advisors by developing, implementing and analyzing custom investment models based on client goals and risk preferences. Prior to that, he served as an investment advisor and mutual fund specialist at TD Ameritrade.
Ben earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2012 and his MBA in 2016, both from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2023.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys going to comedy sets, watching sports, playing basketball, movies, reading, and being outside with his wife, Taylor, and two young kids.
