About Blake
Blake developed a passion for personal finance while pursuing a degree in accounting and regularly found himself researching financial planning topics as a study break from his daily coursework. As financial planning often feels complex and intimidating, he enjoys helping others understand and implement wealth management strategies in pursuit of their long-term goals.
As an associate wealth advisor, Blake’s primary responsibilities are to support the lead advisor in maintaining organized client records, preparing for and participating in client meetings, and ensuring that any resulting action plans are executed. It’s important to him to develop a relationship of trust with clients by being a valuable resource for questions and concerns and always acting in their best interest.
Before joining Buckingham in 2023, Blake worked at KPMG for four years in the federal tax group, mainly focusing on tax return and K-1 preparation for large partnerships in the real estate, private equity, and oil and gas industries. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2019 with a master’s degree in accounting and holds the Certified Public Accountant designation.
Outside of work, Blake enjoys volunteering with the youth program at his church, staying active and spending time with family and friends. He loves cars and sports and enjoys watching everything from Formula 1 to golf.
