About Brad
Brad’s clients benefit from his extensive experience in dealing with all types of financial, investment, tax and estate planning matters. He leverages the knowledge he has gained over his career to provide personalized financial guidance to his clients.
As a financial advisor and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for a combined 35+ years, Brad has always been passionate about his clients’ overall financial wellbeing and their investments. Prior to joining Buckingham Strategic Wealth in 2024, Brad was the managing member of Wasserman Wealth Management, a firm he founded in 2003 to provide wealth management services in a unique and value-added manner, with a philosophy different from traditional brokerage firms.
Brad earned the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), based on his extensive experience in the industry. He has been quoted in the local media, The Wall Street Journal and featured in Investment Advisor Magazine. A dedicated life-long learner, Brad participates in industry learning groups throughout the year, as well as an admired leader monthly study group, which focuses on best practices of top leaders.
Brad graduated from the University of Michigan’s School of Business Administration, with distinction, in 1985. He received a master’s in taxation from Walsh College in 1991. He has been a CPA since 1985 and is a member of the AICPA’s Personal Financial Planning Division and the Michigan Association of CPAs.
Brad is active in the Detroit community and has served on the board of several organizations, including Tamarack Camps, the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, and the Hillel of Metropolitan Detroit. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his three adult children, and his wife, Felicia, who is a commercial interior designer.
