About Bryan

Bryan discovered his passion early in his career: educating people to help them make better financial decisions. With decades of experience as an advisor, he finds his role most rewarding when clients say they had no idea the financial planning process could be so interesting and helpful – and that they wished they had started their journey years ago.

His clients often comment they love his analogies and visualizations during the financial planning process, a process that is comprehensive and focused not just on investments, but also other critical areas such as tax, insurance, estate and education planning. His goal is to simplify and humanize life events such as changing jobs, having a baby or retiring.

Prior to joining Buckingham Strategic Wealth, Bryan founded Clintsman Financial Planning in 2002 to meet the demand of providing objective financial advice that he had witnessed for so many years. Before starting his own practice, he also worked for over 14 years at two international consulting firms, providing financial planning advice to high-net-worth individuals and business owners.

A Kansas native, Bryan received his bachelor’s in accounting and master’s in taxation from the University of North Texas and has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. Bryan is a past chairman of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Financial Planning Association, has been quoted in numerous publications, and has been named by his peers in D Magazine’s list of the “Best Financial Planners in Dallas” every survey since 2004.

He lives with his family (including poodle, Oggie, and sheepadoodle, Charlie) in Bartonville, Texas, and loves to travel, especially to the Colorado mountains. He tries to live out his faith daily by being a servant to his personal and work families.
