About Clay
Clay understands that making big financial decisions is a heavy load on the
shoulders of everyone. His goal is to help lighten that load by making the
financial planning process as painless as possible through proactivity and
communication. He takes pride in being part of a firm that puts the client’s
interest first.
Prior to joining Buckingham Strategic Wealth, Clay was an associate at Clintsman
Financial Planning, a firm he joined in in 2020 after graduating from Texas
Tech University with his bachelor’s degree in personal financial planning. Clay
enjoys being active in his community, particularly through volunteering for the
Dallas-Fort Worth branch of Operation Underground Railroad. He is also an
active member of the Financial Planning Association.
Originally from Katy, Texas, Clay currently resides in Grapevine and attends
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He enjoys reading, exercising, martial
arts, getting outdoors and everything Texas Tech. He also appreciates trips back
home to Katy to see his family and friends.
