About Garret
As an associate wealth advisor, Garret assists his team with designing, implementing and monitoring clients’ comprehensive financial plans. He works closely with wealth advisors and the client service team to ensure clients have tax-efficient, evidence-driven investment and planning strategies in place so that they're able to achieve their most important goals.
Garret chose to pursue a career in financial planning because he wanted to work in an industry that allows people to greatly benefit the customers they encounter. His goal in joining this industry has been to help others achieve financial security and general peace of mind. For Garret, working in the financial advising industry gives him the opportunity to educate clients on a range of topics including estate planning, investment management and retirement planning.
Garret joined Buckingham in May of 2023. Before joining Buckingham, he was a student at Mississippi State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance in December 2022.
Although Garret was born in Atlanta, Georgia, he has lived in Brandon, Mississippi, his whole life. Outside of work, he is an active member of Pinelake Church in Flowood, Mississippi. He also enjoys hunting, the outdoors, watching sports (especially Mississippi State) and spending time with friends and family.
