About Geraldo
As an associate wealth advisor, Geraldo serves as a relentless advocate for his clients by helping them design, build and protect their financial future. He enjoys having the opportunity to truly listen and assist people during the transitions of their life, celebrate with them at their mountaintop moments, and provide guidance on every stage in between. Geraldo became a wealth advisor because he loves listening to people’s life stories and helping them envision and live their best life. He believes a custom-built, comprehensive financial plan is the foundation for every client to meet their goals and fulfill their dreams.
From his diverse work experiences across business, government, law and the arts, Geraldo enjoys connecting with families and individuals from all walks of life. He joined Buckingham Strategic Wealth in 2023. Prior to that, he held roles at wealth management firms in Houston, including FCA Corp and Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James. Earlier in his career, he served as the director of compliance for a law firm in Washington, D.C., and he was the special assistant to the mayor of Indianapolis from 1999 to 2000. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas A&M University. He is also an Accredited Asset Management Specialist® and has completed Rice University’s Certified Financial Planner™ Certification Education Program.
