About Jenny
Jenny Wiechel takes a holistic approach to her relationship with her clients, helping in all aspects and all stages of their life. Jenny understands every financial plan is important and unique and enjoys working with clients to develop individualized plans for long-term success.
As a wealth advisor, Jenny works with individuals and families to identify and formulate goals for life now, in retirement and for the next generation. She helps alleviate stress and fear around finances, saving and retirement through collaboration and critical thinking. As part of her practice, Jenny also has a specialized focus on special needs planning, helping families think through and navigate the complexities of planning for a loved one with a disability. The most rewarding aspect of her job is putting her clients at ease by finding solutions to planning issues, helping them achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves.
Prior to joining Buckingham Strategic Wealth, Jenny served as a portfolio manager at Regions Financial and a family office financial associate at Parkside Financial. She received a bachelor of arts in international studies, with an emphasis on German language, from Birmingham-Southern College. Jenny also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Chartered Special Needs Consultant® professional designations.
Jenny lives in St. Louis and doesn’t really leave Buckingham when she goes home at night – husband Steve is a fixed income advisor at the firm! She enjoys spending time with her daughter Lilly, and Duke her Great Dane, as well as travelling and spending time with friends and family.
