About Maureen (Meaux)
Maureen Costello is a wealth advisor for Buckingham Strategic Wealth and joined the firm in 2013. Meaux is energized by helping clients identify their goals and developing a path for achieving them.
Prior to Buckingham, Meaux was Associate General Counsel at the Electric Power Research Institute in Palo Alto, California. She was also a corporate and securities lawyer counseling Silicon Valley companies of all sizes and growth stages. She is holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a J.D. from Santa Clara University.
Meaux has a long history supporting local nonprofit organizations. She is the past president of the Junior League of Palo Alto-Mid Peninsula and the past president of the Board of Directors of the Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, where she is currently on the board. Meaux also serves on the Girls @ The Tech Leadership Council supporting the Girls @ The Tech initiative at The Tech Interactive to provide a pipeline of opportunities for girls that nurture their interest, boost their skills and solidify their confidence in STEM. She and her husband, Patrick, live on the San Francisco peninsula and enjoy the outdoors. She is a supporter of animal rescue organizations and has four rescue dogs including two senior rescues.
Meaux is currently working on obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
