About Michael
As a wealth advisor, Mike works with families to gain a crystal clear and very deep understanding of their unique goals, needs and concerns. He then collaborates with the family to create a comprehensive financial plan tailored to their individual circumstances. This plan addresses portfolio management, tax strategies, retirement income planning, wealth transfer considerations, risk management, retirement analysis and education planning.
Witnessing his mother overcome significant financial hardships led Mike to make financial planning his life’s work. He particularly enjoys learning about his clients, their families and what they’re passionate about.
Mike also serves clients who have a loved one with a disability or special need, and he is a Chartered Special Needs Consultant® in addition to being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™️ professional.
Mike joined Buckingham Strategic Wealth through the firm’s 2014 merger with Indianapolis-based Hufford Advisors. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 1995.
He enjoys running, lifting weights, playing chess, reading and doing anything outdoors. Every weeknight or over the weekend, you can likely find him walking through his neighborhood with his wife and two dogs.
