The son of educators, it isn’t a stretch that Philip Ho has made a career out of helping others better understand the key to long-term financial well-being and to make better decisions about their money. Seeing the fruits of that labor pay off in the financial success of his clients and their families is Philip’s biggest professional reward and motivator.
A wealth advisor at Buckingham Strategic Wealth, he began his investment advisory career in 1995 at Merrill Lynch where he received the firm's Certified Financial Manager designation. Prior to joining Buckingham, he was a partner of Wealth Management Group, LLP in Irvine, California, where he was responsible for developing and managing client relationships and investment strategy, as well as providing financial planning services. He joined Buckingham in 2014.
As a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), he has served on the Financial Frontiers Award judging committee to select outstanding research papers for publication in the FPA’s Journal of Financial Planning, and participates in community service programs to promote financial literacy and preparedness.
Philip received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. He is also a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional.
