About Susan
As an advisory team associate Susan supports her team and advisors through all the details of the client experience, customer service, back office operations and portfolio management. She enjoys being busy and her role keeps her on her toes. As a Buckingham client herself, she works to walk in her clients’ shoes and assist advisors with sometimes difficult conversations. Susan knows the skill and empathy she brings to her work is beneficial in giving peace of mind. Sitting with a client who has lost their spouse, holding their hand when they cried and telling them, along with their advisor, that they are there to help them through their journey are moments that fill her with gratitude for the work she does.
Susan joined Buckingham in 2016. She had previously served at Solutions for Wealth Management, LLC before their merger with Buckingham. Outside of work Susan enjoys visiting her three daughters and three grandchildren in San Diego and Tampa. She wears a lot of hats that keep her busy. Outside of Buckingham she runs her 1,000-acre family farm with her brother-in-law after her husband passed away. She even did the combining this fall! However, she does make the time to stop and find the joy in life.
