Tom supports clients by working to understand the complexity of their financial situations and finding solutions to create clarity through a wealth strategy tailored to their needs and values. Though he has a background in investment analysis, what he enjoys most about his role is forming and deepening relationships and seeing clients’ wealth strategies become a source of comfort in their lives.
Prior to joining Buckingham, Tom worked as an associate investment analyst at Moneta Group and as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors. He then founded Medicine Bow Capital, a registered investment advisor. Prior to his career in investments, Tom worked as a ski instructor in the Rockies.
Tom holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society Colorado.
Born and raised at the confluence of the great Mississippi and Missouri Rivers in St. Louis, Missouri, Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Tom and his wife call Boulder, Colorado, home. Outside of Buckingham, he likes spending time with his family, camping in the mountains and deserts of the American West, skiing, hiking, biking, and hunting. Tom enjoys early mornings with his bird dog, and spending time in the great outdoors.
