About Tim
In his role, Tim helps provide turnkey retirement plan solutions, operational support and data-driven investing tools to independent wealth management advisors serving the rapidly growing retirement plan market. He enjoys servicing these plans, allowing partner advisors to focus on building their business and taking care of their existing clients.
Tim entered the retirement plan industry in 1986 and has functioned in various roles during his career. He has served clients primarily as a third-party administrator and as a retirement plan advisor. As a seasoned qualified retirement plan professional, Tim possesses an in-depth knowledge of the regulations (ERISA, IRS and DOL) applicable to retirement plan design, compliance and ERISA subject matter. He joined Buckingham in 2024.
Tim earned his BA degree in finance and economics from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. In addition, he obtained the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) credential through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA), a national organization for career retirement plan professionals.
When not enjoying life with his wife Renee, you can frequently find Tim sitting in a tree or on a lake, enjoying the beauty of creation.
