About Travis
As a wealth advisor, Travis navigates the intimate details of a client’s financial life and provides unbiased and objective advice to propel them forward in realizing their financial goals. Through a collaborative and educational financial planning experience he works with a team of professionals to coordinate strategies and allocate resources for clients. Using a hands-on approach, Travis gains a deeper understanding of what is most important in each individual and helps guide them toward their own impression of financial independence.
Travis has gravitated toward financial literacy his entire life and immersed himself in financial planning while in college. He launched his career by building a solid foundation in both portfolio construction and a thorough understanding of wealth management issues for families and small businesses. Each day he is motivated knowing he directly influences a client’s financial independence and helps move them closer to their goals. He loves to educate and help people experience the positive impact that smart financial plans can make over a lifetime.
Prior to joining Buckingham in 2020, Travis served as an associate wealth advisor at Confluence Wealth Management, helping clients navigate retirement with confidence and empower them to grow and preserve their wealth. He previously served as the director of financial planning at another independent wealth management firm in Portland and started his career in Corvallis with a local financial planning practice.
Travis received a bachelor’s of science in finance and a bachelor’s of science in health management and policy from Oregon State University. He received a bachelor’s of science in international business from Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Mosbach in Germany. He also earned an executive certificate in financial planning from the University of Portland. Outside of the office Travis serves as a board member for the Rotary Club of Sherwood and has been elected to serve as president of the club in 2021-2022.
A native Oregonian, Travis and his family currently live in Sherwood, OR. He is an avid soccer fan (Go Timbers!) and loves backpacking through the Pacific Northwest. As weekend warriors, his family devotes as much time as possible to the great PNW outdoors. In addition, Travis enjoys woodworking and has a weakness for dark chocolate.
