About W. Joseph
As a wealth advisor and part of an advisory team, Joe provides comprehensive wealth management solutions for clients working toward achieving their financial goals. He takes the time to get to know what’s important to his clients and works with them to form a comprehensive, customized financial plan, one that includes portfolio management, tax strategies, wealth transfer considerations, retirement analysis and education planning.
Joe joined Buckingham Strategic Wealth in the fall of 2021 after the Siena Investments merger. Joe joined Siena Investments in 2012 where he was a senior wealth advisor. Prior to joining Siena, Joe spent 15 years as chief financial officer and shareholder at a successful logistics firm. His professional career began with the global accounting firm, KPMG.
Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University with a major in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also holds a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning.
Passionate about community involvement, Joe has served as treasurer and finance chair of the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan and served on the board of directors for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and the YMCA of Lansing.
